  This guide provides detailed instructions for using Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro). It includes initial setup instructions, information about the various parts of the application, and steps to complete common tasks.
- Overview
  Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) is a web-based application that administrators use to distribute data to mobile devices that run Jeppesen and Boeing applications. Administrators log in to the application to manage their fleets. JDM Pro is provided as Application Service Provider (ASP) software, where Jeppesen hosts and maintains the application.

  - About user profiles
    If you have Application Administrator permissions, you can create, edit, and delete user profiles in Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro).
  - Viewing user profiles
    The Users page lists the details of users who can access Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro).
  - Creating a user profile
    You can add a user to your Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) system. When you create a user profile, you also set the role for that user.
  - Editing a user profile
    You can edit the user details for any user profile.
  - Deleting user profiles
    If a user is no longer authorized to use JDM Pro, or a user profile is no longer needed, you can delete that user profile from Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro). After you delete a user profile, that user can no longer access JDM Pro.
  - Exporting user profiles
    You can export the user profile data to a comma-separated value (CSV) file.

About user profiles

If you have Application Administrator permissions, you can create, edit, and delete user profiles in Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro).

When you create a user profile, you can assign the following roles to the user profile:

Application Administrator—This user performs the day-to-day tasks within JDM Pro. This is the only user who can create user profiles.
Application Administrator Read Only—This user can view the JDM Pro interface and the data it contains, but can't modify data.
Application Administrator Services—This role allows a web service to retrieve data from JDM Pro. A user with this role can't access the JDM Pro interface.

Note: User passwords expire every 180 days. An Application Administrator must update the password for users who have Application Administrator Services privileges.
