- Introduction
  This guide provides detailed instructions for using Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro). It includes initial setup instructions, information about the various parts of the application, and steps to complete common tasks.
- Overview
  Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) is a web-based application that administrators use to distribute data to mobile devices that run Jeppesen and Boeing applications. Administrators log in to the application to manage their fleets. JDM Pro is provided as Application Service Provider (ASP) software, where Jeppesen hosts and maintains the application.
- Getting started
  Before you use Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro), familiarize yourself with the user interface.
  - Signing in to JDM Pro
    To sign in to Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro), you must have a valid user name and password.
  - Password management
    Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) features a password management system that enhances security, simplifies changing your password, and resetting a forgotten password.
  - About the JDM Pro menu
    Use the Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) menu to navigate to the page you need.
  - About the Device Trash and Content Trash pages
    When you delete a device from the Devices page, the device is moved to the Device Trash. If you delete a content version from the View Version History box, the deleted information is moved to the Content Trash. From the trash, you can permanently delete the information or reinstate it.
  - Searching within JDM Pro
    To search for specific information within Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro), use the search bar at the top of each page.
  - Creating a Trip Kit URL
    You can create a link for company personnel to access an online system called Trip Kit. You use Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) to create a URL that company personnel use to access the Trip Kit app. Using the Trip Kit URL, pilots and dispatchers can create a PDF of the selected route.
    - About the Trip Kit application
      After you have notified personnel of the Trip Kit URL, pilots and dispatchers select the link to access the application.
    - Copying a Trip Kit URL
      You can copy an existing Trip Kit URL and distribute it to your pilots and dispatchers so that they can access Trip Kit.
    - Deactivating a Trip Kit URL
      You can deactivate the Trip Kit URL at any time. The URL deactivates automatically after 180 days.
  - Signing out of JDM Pro
    Signing out of Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) returns you to the JDM Pro Log In page.

Deactivating a Trip Kit URL

You can deactivate the Trip Kit URL at any time. The URL deactivates automatically after 180 days.

Procedure

From the Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) menu, select Trip Kit.
Select the checkbox next to the URL that you want to deactivate.
Select and then select Delete.

The Permanently delete URL? dialog appears.
Select Delete.
JDM Pro deactivates the URL.
