- Overview
  Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) is a web-based application that administrators use to distribute data to mobile devices that run Jeppesen and Boeing applications, such as FliteDeck Pro. Administrators log in to the application to manage their fleets. JDM Pro is provided as Application Service Provider (ASP) software, where Jeppesen hosts and maintains the application.

    A Customer-Inserted Chart refers to a chart that your company imports into Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) and distributes to devices for use in Jeppesen and Boeing applications, such as FliteDeck Pro.

    You use several Jeppesen apps to package and distribute your Customer-Inserted Charts (CICs) to the registered mobile devices in your fleet.

    After your Customer-Inserted Charts (CICs) are created, the workflow for getting the CICs to appear in FliteDeck Pro consists of three phases: packaging the CICs, distributing the CICs, and performing the update on the mobile device.

About Customer-Inserted Chart (CIC) tools

You use several Jeppesen apps to package and distribute your Customer-Inserted Charts (CICs) to the registered mobile devices in your fleet.

Ground Controls

If your company subscribes to the CIC service, you can use Ground Controls to add and manage CICs. These CICs appear in FliteDeck Pro along with Jeppesen standard charts.

CICs are associated with an airport ICAO. The list of airports from which you can choose is gathered from all the terminal chart coverages in your company's subscription.

Depending on the options that your company uses, you can insert a single chart or upload multiple charts in a bulk insert file. You can then publish your CICs to Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) for distribution to FliteDeck Pro devices.

Note: Your company's CICs can be published at any time, independently of the ARINC cycle.
