  This guide provides detailed instructions for using Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro). It includes initial setup instructions, information about the various parts of the application, and steps to complete common tasks.
- Overview
  Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) is a web-based application that administrators use to distribute data to mobile devices that run Jeppesen and Boeing applications, such as FliteDeck Pro. Administrators log in to the application to manage their fleets. JDM Pro is provided as Application Service Provider (ASP) software, where Jeppesen hosts and maintains the application.

  - About user profiles
    If you're an app administrator, you can create, edit, and delete user profiles in Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro).
  - Viewing user profiles
    The Users page lists the details of users who can access Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro).
  - Creating a user profile
    You can add a user to your Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) system. When you create a user profile, you also set the role for that user.
  - Editing a user profile
    You can edit the user details for any user profile.
  - Deleting user profiles
    If a user is no longer authorized to use JDM Pro, or a user profile is no longer needed, you can delete that user profile from Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro). After you delete a user profile, that user can no longer access JDM Pro.
  - Exporting user profiles
    You can export the user profile data to a comma-separated value (CSV) file.

Creating a user profile

You can add a user to your Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) system. When you create a user profile, you also set the role for that user.

Procedure

From the JDM Pro menu, select Users.
Select + New.

The Add New User dialog appears.
Enter the user information.
Note:
- All items marked with an asterisk are required fields.
- Usernames aren't case-sensitive.
- The password must include at least eight characters—one uppercase character, one lowercase character, one number, and one special character.
- The password must not include the username.
Select Save.

JDM Pro creates the user profile and displays the Users page.
