About assigning devices to a distribution group

You can assign a device to a distribution group from the Devices page, or when you edit the device details.

Distribution groups help organize your fleet. When you assign a device to a distribution group, the device receives the data that you assign to that group. Assigning a device to a distribution group ensures that the device receives the same content updates as the other devices in the group.
