Deleting distribution groups

You can delete distribution groups at any time. Deleting a distribution group doesn't delete the devices in the group nor the content associated with it.

About this task

Because devices can only be in one group, when you delete a distribution group, the devices of that group become unassigned. The devices then can't receive content until they're added to another distribution group.

To view a list of devices that aren't assigned to a distribution group, use the Unassigned filter on the Distribution Groups page.

Content can be assigned to multiple groups. When you delete a distribution group and specific content is assigned only to it, you can reassign that content to another distribution group.

Procedure

  1. From the Jeppesen Distribution Manager Pro (JDM Pro) menu, access the Distribution Groups page.
  2. Select the checkbox associated with the distribution groups that you want to delete.
  3. Select the kebab menu, and then select Delete.
